How Do you Leave Lab Results for Patients
When the nurse or physician receives the list of lab results to be given to patients, they dial a 1800 number or login to our website:

Using the phone, they type in the first patient’s Medical Record Number, leave a message on the patient's secure voicemail and move to the next patient.
With one phone call, the nurse or physician can leave 50 lab results in less than
15 minutes.
Since most of your lab results are normal, you can pre-record all normal results and store them into the system as library messages, so you don't have to record them for each individual patient. All you have to do is assign a message number to a patient's Medical Record Number.
Using the website is even faster. The nurse or physician can enter each patient's Medical Record Number, select the library message and send it immediately.
Detailed reports of all messages that are retrieved or not retrieved by patients are displayed on the website in real time, which protects you from liability. The reports show the exact date and time the message was left and when it was accessed.

How Patients Get Their Lab Results
When patients leave your practice they will receive a patient card that we provide for you. The patient card gives instructions on how to retrieve messages 24/7 via a touch-tone phone or through the website: www.CheckYourLabResults.com. Patients can listen to their messages multiple times for up to two 45 days after which the messages are archived and stored in our system.
