TeleVox™ Software Confirmed As Leader in Website Performance As Reported by WebPosition

Mobile, AL, March 1, 2007 — Televox Software announces the results of a follow-up study on the overall performance of its orthodontic practice websites. The study, conducted utilizing WebPosition 4 Professional software from WebTrends, Inc., further validates the results of last year’s independent website visibility study performed by Porter Research. Both studies indicate that TeleVox-hosted websites lead the orthodontic industry in search engine performance.

The WebPosition study was designed to analyze the portion of the Porter Research report that examined TeleVox’s performance in a head-to-head comparison with its main competitor. The evaluation was again performed in all markets in which both TeleVox and the other provider have at least one orthodontic client website. The results verify that the average number of top rankings for TeleVox sites is 2.5 times greater than its main competitor. For TeleVox sites, 58.2% achieved at least one top position result compared to only 29.5% for the other vendor. Among the top five search results, or the results “above the fold,” 83% of TeleVox websites are featured at least once, compared to only 67% of the other vendor’s sites. Additionally, TeleVox sites have a significantly higher Keyword Visibility Index, (KVI), a numeric value that represents a site’s overall visibility in search engines for a set of defined keywords.

The final sample analyzed a total of 92 markets across 31 states during the month of February 2007. Using WebPosition’s manual query setting in its Reporter module, TeleVox analyzed data from three major Internet search engines: Google, Yahoo and MSN. The exclusion of minor search engines and less popular keywords ensured a high degree of focus in evaluating the visibility of orthodontic websites.
